The device types that were impacted are iOS and Chrome OS devices. However, due to the enrolment process utilized by Apple School Manager and Google Workspace for Education, iOS devices were the most impacted.
Unfortunately, this unenrollment of IOS devices has probably resulted in the loss of data on unenrolled iOS devices. However, regarding Chrome OS devices, simply resyncing the devices with your Dashboard should solve any connectivity issues being experienced.
iOS Devices
To investigate and solve any iOS device issues, the following investigation is to be carried out:
Review Device Status
Firstly, establish if devices are currently enrolled or require re-enrolment
- Open your Mobile Guardian Dashboard
- Select Device in the left-hand navigation menu
- Select iOS Devices
- Review the list of devices on your Mobile Guardian Dashboard
Re-enrol Devices
If devices have been unenrolled, please refer to the suitable enrolment guide below to re-enroll devices with your Mobile Guardian Dashboard.

Chrome OS Devices
To investigate the status of your Chrome OS devices, take the following steps:
- Login to your Mobile Guardian Dashboard
- Select Devices in the left-hand navigation menu
- Select Chromebooks
- Review the list of devices on your Mobile Guardian Dashboard
Resync Devices
If your devices are visible, but not responding you may need to resync devices to re-establish connectivity with the devices.

Once you’ve completed these steps, students should be able to log in to their devices and resume learning.
