Steps to Disable Android App Downloads
Sign in to Your Google Admin Console
- Open a web browser and go to the Google Admin Console.
- Sign in using your administrator account credentials.
Access Device Management
- Once logged in, select the Devices from the drop-down.
- Chrome option and Apps & extensions from the dropdown menu.
- Click on User app settings.
- Select the intended Organisational Unit.
- Search for the Android apps on Chrome devices setting, under Addtional app Settings category.
- In the Android apps on Chrome devices, change the current behaviour by selecting Do not Allow from the dropdown menu.
Save Your Changes
- Click Save to apply the settings and restrict Android app downloads on Chromebooks.
