We will be undergoing further security updates on the 22nd of May.

These updates will improve our web filter and improve the reliability and consistency of our software.

Chrome users, please note that due to the security changes implemented in this update, the Mobile Guardian Chrome Extension will require updating to continue to function. Review this guide on our Knowledge Base should you experience any difficulties. 

Additionally, changes to our web filter will be implemented to improve its efficiency and decrease the load it bears on your network.

What is included?

Safer Solution Updates

We are implementing an improved system for our web filter, which depending on the configurations of your web filter, may require changes to ensure student configurations remain active.

See our Safe Content Set Up Guide here to determine if your account requires adjustments.

After these improvements, our Safer Solution will be more streamlined and efficient at handling URL queries and filtering variations of domain structures.
This advancement represents an important step in improving our platform’s performance, resulting in Safer handling URLs and different domain variations more precisely and efficiently.
Remember to test whether URLs are blocked or allowed with our URL Tester Tool in your Mobile Guardian Dashboard. You can read more about that in the article linked above.
