Our latest release is live! 🎉🚀

This release brings you two highly requested features designed to enhance your experience and give you more control, along with an Android EMM build update.

Additionally, we’ve released new infrastructure to our platform. While this may not be immediately perceivable, it will be followed up by some exciting new developments in the near future. But that’s all we can say for now…

  • Optimisation and improvements of our Backend

Let’s dive into the details!

 

 

  • Bulk Management of URLs:
    • Take control of your links like never before! This update introduces the ability to manage multiple URLs simultaneously. You can now:
      • Add multiple URLs at once to your Blocklist or Allowed list: Save time by inputting or importing a list of URLs.
      • Clear in bulk: Easily clear all URLs or selected categories to update a new config.
    • This feature is perfect for power users and anyone who deals with a large number of web links. Find the new “Actions” option in your Safe Content section

  • Customisable Android Launcher Layout:
    • Customise your Android launcher layout, which appears on student devices. This includes options to:
      • Layout Locking: Secure the configured layout by preventing users from moving or uninstalling applications.
      • App Folders: Organise applications into logical categories, improving navigation and decluttering the home screen.
      • Customisable Icons: Enhance visual clarity and user recognition by renaming applications and repositioning their icons.
      • Customisable Dock: Configure a persistent row of frequently used applications at the bottom of the screen for quick access.
      • Customisable Grid: Define the number of rows and columns for application display, allowing for optimal use of screen space.
      • Launcher Title: Personalise the launcher with a title relevant to your deployment (e.g. school name, grade level).
      • Visual Theme Options: Customise the appearance with options for title background colour, title text colour, body background colour, and body text colour.
      • Custom Wallpaper: Apply a consistent and branded wallpaper to your managed devices.
      • App Drawer: Enable an app drawer for users to access all installed applications easily.
      • Web Clips: Create shortcuts to frequently accessed web links directly on the home screen as icons.

Android EMM application update 2.10.25

  • Improved stability with Android EMM.
  • Android Launcher Layout update implemented. 
  • Improved experience in implementing Android Drawer configurations inside and outside classes.

    • Core improvements, modernisations and optimisation of our code base 
    • Increase reliability and performance of the Mobile Guardian application across all operating systems
    • Laying the foundation for future developments and improvements to the Mobile Guardian Platform.
