Mobile Guardian Extension Update

We’ve recently updated our Chromebook extension! 

With an improved response to internet connectivity issues, Mobile Guardian will now show different block screens in accordance to your internet connection, type of content accessed, and connection to Mobile Guardian’s servers. 

This change ensures that users are able to easily identify the reason for receiving their block screen for a more fluid troubleshooting experience. 

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact our support team to find out more. 

Changes: 

We have updated our Chromebook Extension Block pages when devices are offline, or struggling with connectivity issues.

Changes to our Block Pages

Below are the different screens that will be displayed.

1. Internet connectivity issues.
   a. Classic Chrome internet connectivity screen displayed

2. Issues connecting to Mobile Guardian's server.
   a . “Mobile Guardian Services Unreachable” screen will appear

3. Accessing inappropriate content.
   a. Traditional Mobile Guardian block screen will be displayed
