Understanding Schedules
Schedules are a powerful tool in Mobile Guardian that allows you to control when certain profiles are active. By defining specific timeframes, you can tailor device configurations to different scenarios, such as work hours, school hours, or weekend settings.
Creating a Schedule
To create a new schedule, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Settings: Go to the Settings tab in the Mobile Guardian dashboard.
- Access Time & Date Settings: Click on the Time & Date Settings option.
- Add a New Schedule: Click the Add new button.
- Define Schedule Details:
- Schedule Name: Provide a clear and descriptive name for the schedule.
- Start Date and End Date: Set the specific dates when the schedule will be active.
- Start Time and End Time: Define the start and end times for the schedule.
- Days of the Week: Select the days on which the schedule should apply.
- Additional Timeframes: If needed, add more timeframes within the schedule by clicking the + button.
Using Schedules in Profiles
Once you've created a schedule, you can assign it to a profile to control its activation times. This can be done either during profile creation or by editing an existing profile's settings.
By effectively utilizing schedules, you can optimize device configurations and ensure that your policies are enforced at the right time.
