Bulk Action - Application Access Pin/Debug Pin

To better equip admins in securing access to blocked applications and accessing debug logs, you can bulk update all Chromebook and Android device PINs. The Bulk Action - Application Access PIN/Debug PIN option allows school administrators to change the device PINs on their Chromebooks and Android devices in bulk.

Bulk Update Device PINs for Chromebooks and Android Devices

Navigate to Devices:

• Select the devices you wish to update the PIN for.

Select Actions:

• Click on the Actions drop-down menu.

Select Application Access PIN/Debug PIN:

• Choose the Application Access PIN/Debug PIN option.

Enter the New PIN:

• Enter the Application Access PIN you wish to add to all selected devices.
• Click Confirm. The Device Application Access PIN or Debug PIN will now be changed.

Verification:

• Bulk Action Queue: Check the Bulk Action Queue to confirm the update has been completed.
• Details Button: You can further check which devices were updated by selecting the Details button on the right.

Confirm on a Device Level:

• Select Device:
  • Click the eye icon on the relevant device.

• Check Device Information:
  • For Chromebooks, navigate to the Device Information tab to see the updated Debug PIN.
  • For Android devices, check the Application Access PIN to see the change.
