Enhance the security of your admin and teacher accounts by enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) using Google Authenticator. This added layer of security helps protect sensitive information and ensures that only authorized users can access their accounts.
Enabling Two-Factor Authentication for Admins and Teachers

User Authentication Setup
After 2FA is enabled, the relevant admins or teachers will be required to authenticate their accounts during their next login.
User Steps:
- Download the Google Authenticator app on a mobile device.
- Upon first login, users will be prompted to activate their Google Authenticator. They will need to open the Google Authenticator app on their mobile device and scan the QR code provided when trying to access Mobile Guardian.
- After scanning the QR code, users should select Activate on the modal.
On subsequent logins, users will be required to enter a verification code, which will be generated by the Google Authenticator app on their mobile device. The login screen will now prompt for this verification code.
Important Notes:
- QR Scan Requirement: If users do not scan the QR code on the Google Authenticator app before clicking "Activate," they will not be able to access their account until Google Authenticator is disabled again.
- Account Removal: If users remove their account from the Google Authenticator app on their mobile device, the app will stop generating codes. As a result, users will be unable to access their account until Google Authenticator is disabled in the Mobile Guardian dashboard.
Deleting an account from the Google Authenticator app triggers the following warning prompt:
