Syncing Google Classroom Roster
If you are already using Chromebook Sync in Mobile Guardian, syncing your roster information from Google Classroom requires additional API scopes.
- Review the settings in step two of the Chromebook Onboarding guide to ensure the necessary API scopes are configured.
- Ensure you have classes set up in Google Classroom.
- Go to the Mobile Guardian Dashboard.
- Navigate to Settings > ChromeBook Settings.
- Click the Sync Roster button.

Syncing ASM Roster
If you are already using ASM or DEP to sync devices and students with Mobile Guardian, syncing your ASM roster is straightforward.
- Ensure you have classes set up in ASM.
- Go to the Mobile Guardian Dashboard.
- Navigate to Settings > iOS MDM Settings > DEP Settings.
- Click the Sync Roster button.
Viewing Synced Roster Information
Once you have successfully synced your roster information, you can view it on the Mobile Guardian Dashboard:
- Go to Settings.
- Click on Classes to see the synced roster information.
This process will ensure that your school's roster information from both ASM and Google Classroom is accurately reflected in Mobile Guardian, allowing for seamless management of your devices and users.
