Deploy the Mobile Guardian app automatically on device enrolment

The Mobile Guardian platform includes a Managed Application that serves multiple functions such as acting as a safe browser, reporting device location and status, providing access to My Catalogue (for available apps and resources), and displaying key information like the name of the deployed profile.

Deploying the Managed Application on iOS Devices

For iOS devices, the Managed Application can be automatically deployed upon enrollment. Follow the steps below to set this up:

Navigate to Settings:

• Go to Settings > Global Preferences in your Mobile Guardian dashboard.

Enable Automatic Installation:

• Toggle the Install the Mobile Guardian managed applications (iOS only) option to the right.

Save Your Settings:

• Click Save in the top right corner of the page.

Now, when iOS devices are enrolled, they will automatically install the Managed Application.

Deploying the Managed Application on Chromebooks

For Chromebooks, please refer to the guide for configuring the Mobile Guardian App.

Deploying the Managed Application on Android Devices

For Android devices, the Managed Application needs to be manually downloaded from the Play Store.
