Different schools use different grading systems, which are often country-specific, such as grade, standard, form, or year. You can configure levels for each system, like Grade 1 and Grade 2, or Form A and Form B. If your school has an informal program or has changed its grading system, you may want to create a custom grading system. For instance, you may want to grade students by rank or proficiency.
Follow the steps below to configure your grading system:
Accessing the Grading System Settings
- Log into your Mobile Guardian School Dashboard.
- On the navigation panel on the left-hand side of the screen, click on Settings.
- Under the Settings menu, click on Grading System.
Selecting or Creating a Grading System
- On the School Grades page, click on the drop-down arrow under Select Grading System.
- You will see a list of existing grading systems. Select one from the list or choose Custom to create a new grading system.
Adding Levels to Your Grading System
- Once you have selected or created a grading system, click on the Save button.
- Now you can add levels (e.g., standards or years) to your chosen system. Enter a name for a level and click the Save button to add it to your school's grading system.
Example
For instance, if you selected Custom, you can create levels like:
- Beginner
- Intermediate
- Advanced
After typing in these names, click Save to add them to your custom grading system.
Summary
