Removing the Mobile Device Management (MDM) profile from iOS devices via the Mobile Guardian Dashboard is a straightforward process that ensures continued compliance with institutional policies while granting greater control over device management. This guide will walk you through the necessary steps to efficiently remove MDM profiles using the dashboard, ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining device security. #Note: This method can be used if the device was enrolled via QR code or AC2.
- Navigate to Devices:
- On the Mobile Guardian Dashboard, go to Devices > All Devices.
- Click on the Device Information icon (eye) for the required device.
- Remove MDM:
- Select Actions.
- Click on Remove MDM.
Once the command has been acknowledged by the device, the Mobile Guardian application will be uninstalled.
The best practice would be to delete the device once the MDM has been removed
- Delete Device:
- After MDM removal, delete the device from the Mobile Guardian Dashboard by selecting the trash can icon.
#Note: You can bulk remove MDM using the Device Bulk Action function for multiple devices.
