Using Two Factor Authentication

If your Distict administrator has enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) for your profile, you will be asked to activate your Google Authenticator application. Here’s how to get started:

Getting Started

• Download Google Authenticator:
  • You will first need to download the Google Authenticator application on your mobile device. This can be found on the App Store or Play Store on your mobile device:

• Activate Google Authenticator:
  • When you log in to your profile, you will be prompted to activate Google Authenticator.
  • Open the Google Authenticator application on your device select the option to add authentication and scan the QR code provided in the modal.
  • After scanning the QR code, select "Activate" on the modal.

• Enter Google Authenticator Code on Login:
  • On subsequent logins, you will be asked to enter the Google Authenticator code on the login page.
  • To retrieve your code, open the Google Authenticator application on your mobile device. The code will be generated automatically upon login.

#Note: If you do not complete the QR scan first on your mobile device and attempt to activate Google Authenticator, you will not be able to access your profile until your administrator disables this feature for your profile.
