The Google Classroom Sync feature on the Classroom Management dashboard allows Google Workspace Teachers to sync their classes without requiring an Admin to do so from the Admin dashboard.
#Note: This option is not available for non-Google Workspace teachers.
How to Sync Classes
Access the Sync Button
- On the Teacher dashboard, select the Google Sync button located at the top right of your dashboard.
Syncing Process
- Clicking the Google Sync button will start the synchronization process, importing all relevant Google Classroom information such as your class list, students assigned to your class, and any additional teachers.
- A pop-up will inform you of the information being imported.
View Synced Classes
- Once the sync is completed, your dashboard will populate with your Google classes.
- If your classes are not immediately visible on the dashboard, click the refresh button.
No Updates Notification
- If your classes are already up-to-date, you will be informed that there are no updates or courses updated.
