The Mobile Guardian platform also includes a Managed Application. This is used for a variety of functions including as a safe browser, passing information to the central service about location/status, access to My Catalogue (to show available apps and/or resources) and to provide users with key information such as the name of the profile deployed on the device.
For iOS devices, this can be automatically deployed to devices when they are enrolled.
Please follow the steps below.
- Navigate to Settings > Global Preferences.
- Toggle Install the Mobile Guardian managed applications (iOS only) to the right.
- Click Save in the top right corner of the page.
When devices are enrolled they will now automatically install the Managed Application.

For Android devices, the Managed Application needs to be downloaded from the Play Store (Onboard individual Android device - Admin) or side-loaded by a device administrator before the device can be enrolled.
