How to unpin a Chromebook extension

To ensure your Chromebook extension is automatically updated. You will need to navigate through the following steps to ensure that the latest version of the Chromebook extension is sent to the linked accounts. 

- Access your Google Workspace Account.
Select:

- Chrome browser dropdown

- Apps & extensions

Select the related Organizational Unit. 

On the window that appears on the right, ensure you are on the Users & Browsers tab and select the Mobile Guardian extension. 

On the new window that appears, navigate to the Version Pinning dropdown. Here you would need to ensure that the version is not pinned. If it is pinned to the previous version. 

You would need to select the dropdown and change it to Not Pinned

Once done, you will need to select Save in the top right corner of the screen.

NOTE: This way you will not leave any specific version marked, but rather allow for the extension to be updated to the latest available version when the extension has been updated.
